On 26th of June 2010, SMK Dato Penggawa Timur organizes a trip to Melaka..4 teachers was in charge for the trip.A total of 33 students have participated the trip including me. I rise on early morning, with high spirit and was so happy.This is my first time of joining the school's trip to different state.Well, I am the second last boy to enter the bus at 7.00 am.I sat with a form 6 brother,who is a total stranger to me.By being nice, I greeted him and likewise and we became friends.(It is wise to make friends when you are on a journey).The journey took about 2 and 1/2 hour.The first destination was Zoo Melaka.I and Kevin(the boy who sat beside me) walked together in the zoo.We climbed a tower which located near the deer's location.I never knew how tall was the tower until I reached the highest floor.It was so exhausting but fun though.Then in the search of snakes, both of us walked into reptiles house.Guess what, the snakes just had their meal and the meals have not digested yet.After Zoo Melaka, we went to Taming Sari~ Menara Taming Sari was situated over there.Google it(Menara Taming Sari) to know more about it.It was such a splendid experience I ever had.It was awesome.At first, my heart beat was so fast and my legs and hands were shaking a lot.I would suggest you to take on the ride at night.The Malacca city is beautiful at night.The lights and the buildings are just simply marvelous.Well back to the topic, After that ride, we went to Samudera museum.The old ship was the museum.In that museum, there are a lot of histories about the invasion of Malacca, the well known business port and of course about the ships too.After that, the teaches insisted the students to people museum.In that museum, we can see alot of kites, which is traditional kites obviously.Also, there are Top, drawings and 3D photos.Not only Malaysian kite, but there are Japanese, Korean and some other countries kites are in the museum.After sight seeing the museum, we were asked to take some photos in Kota A Famosa.Then we were free to go.Teachers allow the students to sight seeing the city.We got 5hours to spend it.So at first, I and Kevin(the form 6 kid) went to some history places including:
-St Paul Hill
-Independence Museum
-Istana Melaka
-Bangunan Stadhuys
-St Paul church
Then we went to Dataran Pahlawan. there were so many shop in there including magic shop and 3D cinema.we bought lunch there before going to Mahkota Parade.Then we both went to Mahkota Parade.There are Tamiya, and bookstores in the building.So, we most of our time in that building.We played games,riding bike and driving car.After that, we have nothing else to do in Mahkota Parade, so we headed to Taming Sari where all the students were supposed to meet at 7.00pm.It was 6.30pm, so we both still have time.So we were heading to Eye on Malaysia.But we got lost on the way to Eye on Malaysia.We took the wrong route.So we managed to snapped some photos from far.Then it was time to leave.So we headed back to Taming Sari, and got into the bus.In the bus, Cikgu Aishah, Cikgu Heryanti and two other teachers asked questions regarding the places we visited.Everyone was so excited in the bus.Incredibly, I see less people sleeping.Most of them are still energetic.I guess the fun we had was awesome.This experience ought to share with friends, so here I am , sharing it with you..
